Premier People's Shut Down division supplies skilled and experienced trades and skilled labour to mine sites across WA. Our core crew of 75+ individuals mobilise to BHPIO, FMG, Roy Hill and Rio Tinto sites to carry out many areas of maintenance.

Job Summary

We are looking for trade qualified, experienced roller technicians to carry out various areas of maintenance. Candidates must be available to work between the  28th of April and the 16th of May. Key responsibilities include carrying out maintenance on:

  • Tips
  • Arms
  • Cushions
  • Poles
  • Roller change outs
  • Hard and Soft Skirt Maintenance
  • Tracking Frame Installations
  • Plough blade inspections and replacements

Skills and experience

Candidates must hold the following current tickets, or be willing to get them at their own expense:

  • Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D)
  • Working in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D)
  • Gas Testing Atmospheres (Preferred)
  • MSIC (Preferred)
  • National Police Clearance (Preferred)

Successful applicants will have the highest regard for safety and will be required to actively contribute in HSE based activities to ensure the health, safety and well-being of themselves and others.

You will have the ability to be flexible to deliver in a continually evolving environment and possess strong team work ethics. As part of the recruitment process, suitable applicants will be required to complete pre-employment medical testing including drug and alcohol screening.
